Q: How far in advance should I book a wedding planner?

A: As most answers do, this one depends on a number of variables specific to your situation, but generally speaking, you’ll want to book a wedding day coordinator a minimum of two months in advance of your wedding. For full service wedding planning, you’ll want to book a planner around 12 months prior to the wedding. If you’re booking a popular wedding planner or your wedding date is a popular one, however, you may need to book even further in advance. Planners and coordinators are typically only able to provide services for one wedding on any given day (you wouldn’t want your planner to be focused on any other weddings that day, trust me!).
